Cognitive & ADHD Assessments

In any relevant treatment, it's common to give areas like memory, attention, reasoning, and verbal ability—a whole suite of cognitive skills crucial for daily life—a thorough look-over.

Why is Measuring Cognitive Health so Important?

Measuring cognitive health is beneficial as it helps with confirming diagnoses and allows for personalized treatment planning, including monitoring treatment effectiveness.

These tests offer objective and standardized assessments that can identify specific cognitive deficits associated with ADHD, like attention, impulse control, and working memory, as well as some other cognitive difficulties present in other diagnoses.

How the Process Works

Finding Hope utilizes the Creyos software platform for testing purposes. This software is easy to access and user friendly. You have the option of accessing the software from the comfort of your own home or if you prefer in our offices. The software is compatible with all the latest web browsers and can be done from your laptop, desktop, or tablet.

Here's a quick run-through of the steps:

  1. After your appointment you will receive an email with a link to the assessment, or we can set up a time for you to come into the office and do it together.
  2. There will be a brief intro to walk you through what to expect, how to tackle the assessment, and how long it'll probably take.
  3. Next up is the interactive tutorial for your first task. The tutorial allows you to practice and get comfortable with the program.
  4. After you've got the hang of the tutorial, it's showtime! Complete the task, and once you're done, a report will be sent for review by the doctor.
